Hi, friends! I'm Jessie, in case you didn't know that.

I’m the face here, and I'm also the author of Ready, Set...Now What? Discovering Your Identity, Gifts, and Purpose in the Real World

I believe that everyone was created for a purpose, and mine is found in writing words of encouragement and hope to help you live and work with greater simplicity so you can do more of what you love and less of what you don't!

It's my mission to help you focus on what is most important to you, streamline everyday activities, surround yourself with more natural personal and household products, reduce stress, and create the life and home that you've always dreamed of!

If you can identify with that, then you've come to the right place!

When I'm not writing or organizing (or hanging out with my daughter), you can find me cooking up some new-to-me recipes in the kitchen (inevitably making a huge mess), watching a show on Netflix (lazy Sundays, anyone?), hanging out with my friends or family (they're the best!), or curled up on the couch with a big book (the best way to unwind, hands down).  (You think so, too? Let's be friends!)

One day I just couldn’t take it anymore— all the stress, all the worry, all the striving for perfection and trying to be and do #allthethings. I wanted more— more meaning, more freedom, more peace, more joy. And I knew that it would be found in actually doing and having less.

I was trying all the traditional products to fill the void, overspending and overstuffing my home with more things I didn’t need.

I filled my calendar to overflowing in an attempt to run from the dissatisfaction in my soul, but it wasn’t the solution I hoped it would be.

What I called "life" was missing something so critical that it didn't feel like a whole life, only a partial one, like a vital piece of the puzzle was hiding under one of the couch cushions.

I didn't want to keep living like that. I wanted to live purposefully, loving my right-now life, simplifying my focus on the important things, although I had no idea what that really meant. I just knew there was more to life than the overstuffed, overwhelmed life I was living.

I did a lot of reading and research about minimalism, slowing down, more natural personal and household products, and what it means to live with purpose and intention.

I decided to live the life I wanted, creating it by focusing on the things that were most important to me and making decisions based on my values and knowing what I’m aiming for, giving my best “yes” and my gracious “no” carefully instead of running on autopilot or following the crowd.

I slowly came to understand what purpose means, what my purpose is, and how purpose can play out in my everyday life, while helping me make intentional decisions to beat the overwhelm by focusing on the right things.

I found greater confidence to be myself and pursue the things that God had been growing in my heart for ages. I started loving my right-now home and my right-now life. And I started pursuing my dream of helping other women overcome the overwhelm and pursue their dreams, too!

Now I'm sharing what I’ve learned about simplicity, slower living, and organization so I can help people like you do the same, which is something I used to merely dream about!

Choosing to live more joyfully, simply, and intentionally has opened so many doors to me-- in my relationships, my finances, my health, my home, and more. It has truly transformed my outlook and my daily life! And I know it can do that for you, too!

Life is either a great adventure or nothing.
